Embassy Group is a large developer of real estate that started operations in 1993. The company was founded by Jitu Virwani, the Chairman and Managing Director. Over the course of its history, Embassy Group has developed a total of 54 million square feet of commercial/residential/retail/hospitality/services/educational/industrial warehouse use. In addition, Embassy Group owns a land bank of more than 1,000 acres throughout India. The company's operations are not limited to just the Indian market, but also include locations such as Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Coimbatore, Trivandrum, and international locations such as Serbia and Malaysia. Embassy Group is a leader in the leasing of office spaces and the development of integrated office parks, and to date has developed 41 million square feet of commercial property. In addition, it has a portfolio of ongoing and planned projects expected to produce an additional 72 million square feet of commercial space. In 2012, Embassy Group entered into a joint venture with Blackstone to create Embassy Office Parks, a partnership dedicated to the development of world-class office space and the establishment of vibrant business centres. Embassy Office Parks has developed several notable office locations, including Embassy Golf Links, Embassy Manyata Business Park, Embassy TechVillage, and Embassy TechZone, all of which are home to many high-profile companies.
